The Hunter Moon
The Full Harvest Moon is on October 20th and this represents the time of harvesting and preparing the bounty for the winter ahead. The harvest of pumpkins, squash, and wild rice are now ready for gathering.
It is believed that this full Moon came to be called the full Hunter’s Moon because it signaled the time to go hunting in preparation for the cold winter ahead. Animals are beginning to fatten up ahead of winter, and since the farmers had recently cleaned out their fields under the Harvest Moon, hunters could easily see the deer and other animals that had come out to root through the remaining scraps:

This month the moon is in Aries. The feeling of uncertainty can make you solve problems faster then is natural. Do not rush as if there was a deadline. Try to slow down so that you can decide what you want to do proceed at your own comfortable pace.

October’s birthstones are pink tourmaline and opal.
